Furnaces — FAQs

Why does my RV furnace blower run but never light?

A common cause is the sail switch not closing (often from a weak blower or restricted airflow), but it can also be the igniter, gas valve, limit switch, or low propane pressure. We diagnose the full ignition sequence on-site.

Is a propane smell from my furnace dangerous?

Treat any propane odor as urgent — shut the furnace and propane off and call us. We’ll inspect the gas train and combustion system for leaks before returning it to service.

Do you service furnaces in the off-season?

Yes — fall is the ideal time. We recommend a pre-season furnace check so you’re not discovering a no-heat problem on the first cold night.
